Navigation services launched by Google through Google Maps is a brilliant product. With this application users can do Google Maps for free navigation throughout the world.
Currently, the Google Maps application for Android has been updated to version 4.4, the latest version of this application, Google has come up with a more detailed feature of its Google Maps application.
New features posted on the Google Maps application is v4.4 Places Icon, where with this feature users can find an icon for the specific places that can become POI (points of interest), such as the places closest to the user, and with this application users can now display the traffic lane and three-dimensional map.
In the devices using the Android system and Google Maps 4.4 application we will also meet with New Places icon on the menu launcher application. Google suggests that users can drag and drop on your home screen to use it when you search for restaurants, shoe stores, movie theaters or other places of local business. Through this feature, users now get a detailed list of all the places nearby and can choose one and see the details on the Place Page.
Users also can search for some kind of place with the default categories or add your own category for the most frequently performed searches. You can also use the search box above to type a keyword or say anything. You can search on terms like “coffee” or “filling station” on the road, “ice cream shop” in my neighborhood, and even certain places like saying the name of the bank.
